We offer earwig control because their intimidating appearance is reason enough to want them gone.
If you were to look at an earwig up close, you’d surmise that they are quite menacing and dangerous. The reality is that despite their pincers, they are not poisonous. More good news is that they do not spread disease either. So, other than the uncomfortable feeling you get having unwelcomed pests in and around your property, it isn’t an urgent matter to call for earwig control.
At The Dead Pest Society, we don’t believe in using fear tactics to coerce you into any type of pest control. We just state the facts and leave it to you to decide what risks you are willing to take and whether your goal is to have a pest-free environment. So, while we do not offer earwig control because of a particular hazard involved, either to your family or your property, we do offer it because their intimidating appearance may be reason enough.
As with any of our pest control services, we are not just a valuable resource for pest extermination and prevention on our part, but also providing education on how to avoid certain pests. In the case of earwig control, you can reduce their numbers by improving the drainage around your home, cleaning up the landscaping to eliminate conditions conducive to earwigs, and eliminating their hiding places. We’ll be happy to point out any areas we see that could be contributing to earwig reproduction.
